Creative Director of Video Content, Telegraph Media Group
Matt Simmonds is a multimedia creative director with 13 years’ experience. He conceives and crafts stories for any screen or device, creating content which connects brands with people.
He’s currently the creative lead for video at The Telegraph where he oversees all commercial and branded video content both for The Telegraph and its clients. Previously he worked in a freelance capacity for agencies and brands such as Time Inc. (formerly IPC Media), Carat Global, Dentsu-Aegis, Vizeum, Manning Gottlieb OMD, Unruly Media, Topman, Soho House, and Paul Smith.
He also has extensive experience lecturing and teaching on the MA Branding and the BA (Hons) Design for Advertising courses at the prestigious London College of Communication.
He started his career as a music video director and record sleeve designer, working with artists and labels such as Paul Weller, Manic Street Preachers, Bloc Party, Sony BMG, Universal, Rough Trade and EMI.
